In 2021, Pastor Kwasi led the launching of the NextGen Worship Service, a 3rd Service of Jesus Power North Columbus, which combined the groups of high schoolers, college students, and young adults up to the age of 30. Pastor Amoah led this ministry with the aim of making committed youth and young adults followers of Christ who boldly pursue Christ-like living. Shortly afterwards, Pastor Amoah was commissioned by Apostle Bismark to lead the new Jesus Power East Church which launched its first service on February 6, 2022.

OUR History

We are the East Branch of Jesus Power Assemblies of God Church, North Columbus, which was founded and led by Apostle Bismark Osei Akomeah. By prophetic inspiration and direction, the East Church was planted by Apostle Bismark on February 6, 2022 to reach out to the cities and suburbs on the east of Columbus. The Resident Pastor of the East Church is Kwasi Dadie Amoah. We are an international congregation, anointed by God to preach the good news to the poor, set captives free, bring light to the blind, and declare that the time for the Lord's favor has come for everyone who believes. We believe that we have been chosen and carefully positioned and planted to influence the communities we live in with the message and love of Christ Jesus. We recognize the growth in population occurring among the New American and International Community on the East side of Columbus. Indeed the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers have always been few. May God give us a groundswell of response to the sharing of his word as it has done among the communities on the North side of Columbus. We have a charge to keep, and a God to glorify by reaching out to save never dying souls and fit them for the sky.
